Iranian national wrestling team crowned champions of freestyle wrestling in Asia with 5 Gold, 3 bronze medals

Pars Today - The Senior Freestyle Wrestling Championships of Asia, with 23 countries participating, was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In this tournament, Iran clinched eight medals, securing the championship title.
Iran managed to secure five gold medals, with Rahman Amouzad Khalili in the 65kg weight class, Amir Mohammad Yazdani in the 70kg, Mohammad Nokhodi in the 79kg, Amirhossein Firouzpour in the 92kg, and Amirhossein Zare in the 125kg, as well as three bronze medals, with Hossein Abouzari in the 74kg, Hadi Vafaeipour in the 86kg, and Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian in the 97kg.
In the team standings, following Iran, Japan and Kyrgyzstan stood in second and third place respectively.
The Greco-Roman wrestling championships will also begin in Bishkek on Tuesday, and the Iranian national Greco-Roman wrestling team will defend its championship title in these competitions.
