Iran's FM: UN Security Council must stop Israel's ruthless plan to destroy Palestinian nation
The Iranian Foreign Minister said at the UN Security Council emergency meeting that this council must stop the ruthless plan of the Israeli regime to annihilate an entire nation (Palestine), which has been under occupation and brutal oppression for eight decades.
On Friday, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi at the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in West Asia and Palestine said: "Netanyahu and his gang of criminals should be arrested and tried for the most heinous crimes, not allowed to appear at the UN and boast about their atrocities."
According to Pars Today, Araghchi emphasized that the credibility of the UN Security Council is decreasing every moment because it is being prevented from doing its duty under the charter by the main supporters of the Israeli regime.
He pointed out that Israel's warmongering is based on US military support and political backing, adding that American weapons make up a large part of the Israeli regime's arsenal and ammunition used in Gaza, and therefore the US is involved in all aspects of Israel's crimes.
Araghchi said: "The world has been watching with anger and disgust, while the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and others have been consoling the criminals. Do you really expect the international community to believe in the sincerity of your human rights claims?"
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime, with the full support of Western countries, has launched a massive massacre against the defenseless and oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom of around 41,500 Palestinians and the injury of around 96,000 others.
