Pars Today- Seyyed Mohammad Aqa Miri, a member of Tehran City Council, said in an open session of the council, "The Friday prayer of October 4, 2024, was reminiscent of the Allegiance of Rizwan. This allegiance aimed to strengthen the spirit of the faithful and renew their combat preparedness."

The Friday prayer, held on October 4, 2024, in Tehran by Ayatollah Khamenei as the prayer leader after the martyrdom of the late Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Iran's punitive missile response to the crimes of the Zionists, was a very great historical day in the world of Islam in view of many Muslim and non-Muslim analysts and personalities across the world. The event was dubbed as the Nasr (Victory) Friday Prayer.

Imam Khamenei and million-strong population of the Iranian faithful attended Tehran's Mosalla (prayer site) for congregational Friday prayer in spite of the enemy's ranting and threats to target the place in the aftermath of Operation True Promise 2 which had been successfully and powerfully launched against the fake Israeli regime three days before.

This Friday prayer was held according to a pre-announced schedule in an open space without any specific protective measures and facilities.

Amazingly, Imam Khamenei attended the special ceremony to commemorate martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah some one hour before the Friday prayer and started reciting some verses of the Qur'an for his spirit. Unlike his previous Friday prayers, Ayatollah Khamenei led the Asr (afternoon) prayer himself and even spent several minutes exchanging greetings with various officials.
