    Iran, Croatia to hold third round of dialogues of religions

Pars Today- The third round of religious dialogues of the Center for Dialogue of Religions and Cultures affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization of Iran is going to be held on Monday in Zagreb, Croatia, with the participation of Croatian religious thinkers.

The main theme of this round, which is hosted by the Croatian Council of Religions with the axis of the Islamic community of the country, has been announced, "Experiences in the Field of Dialogue of Religions". According to Pars Today, quoting from Mehr news agency, Hojjat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, Head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization of Iran and Chairman of the Council for Policymaking and Coordination of Religious Dialogue, and a number of the leaders and religious dignitaries of various religions in Iran will attend the event upon the invitation of Aziz Hasanović, Great Mufti of Croatia.

On the second day of its presence in Zagreb, the Iranian delegation will attend the specialized session titled, "Social Responsibility of Religious Leaders" in the Catholic University of Croatia.

On the sidelines of this round of dialogues, preparations have been made for Iranian thinkers to meet with the Croatian religious and cultural figures.

The start of the religious dialogue of the Center for Dialogue of Religions and Cultures with Croatian religious thinkers dates back to June 2009.

The first round of these dialogues was held in June 2009 in the city of Zagreb under the main theme of "Peace and Peaceful Coexistence in Monotheistic Religions" which was hosted by the Croatian Islamic community and religious thinkers of both countries had participated in the event.

The second round of these dialogues, too, dates back to 2017 which was hosted by the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization of Iran and attended by religious thinkers of Croatia.
