Pars Today - An exhibition of the Iranian cultural and artistic treasury dubbed as "Land of the Sun" has been held in Guangzhou city of China.

"Land of the Sun" exhibition, showcasing 151 historical works of Iran's museum treasuries, has been opened at the museum of Guangzhou city, located in Guangdong province of China. Land of the Sun is a cultural event which displays the glory, delicacy and profundity of Iran's 5000-year civilization to thousands of Chinese visitors. According to Pars Today, the exhibition is aimed at introducing various dimensions of the Iranian culture and civilization and bolstering the historical bonds between the two nations on the Silk Road.

The design of the exhibition, which will be open till June 21, 2025, has been inspired with the motifs of the Iranian art and architecture to the extent that the entrance has been decorated in a way to remind the tile-work of Golestan Palace (Tehran), and the main hall has been designed with the pattern of the geometric shapes and colorful glasses of Nasir-ul-Molk Mosque (Shiraz). This arrangement has created a spiritual and artistic climate which takes the visitors to the very heart of the Iranian culture.

A special section of the museum of Guangzhou city, with the help of the works in its treasury, has displayed artistic works with a blend of Iranian and Chinese artefacts. This joint arrangement shows the common taste and historical bonds of the Iranians and the Chinese with a focus on the issues like enameling of ceramics, motifs of flowers and birds and other artistic elements.

"Land of the Sun" exhibition has been broadly received and extolled by the Chinese visitors and many of them, praising the rich Iranian culture, expressed hope to travel to Iran to get familiar better with Iran's precious heritage.

Moreover, another exhibition, which had already been held at the academic museum of Sichuan in the city of Chengdu, was also warmly welcomed. This event was accompanied with Iranian traditional live music, traditional garments and educational programs which were widely broadcast on the Chinese media.
