Iran\'s strong presence at LIMA 2025 International Exhibition
Pars Today - The Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in the Malaysian International Defense Exhibitions for the second consecutive year.
The 17th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2025) opened on Tuesday, May 20th, in Langkawi Island, Malaysia, and will continue until Saturday, May 24th.
According to Pars Today, over 350,000 people, including 140 official delegations from 46 countries, are expected to visit this exhibition.
Iranian air and naval equipment, including various missile, anti-missile, air defense, radar, naval systems, warships, submarines, smart bombs, and guided bombs, have been showcased at this exhibition and have been very well received by visitors.
Malaysian government and military officials, including Mohamed Khaled Nordin, the Minister of Defense; Mohamad Sabu, the Minister of Agriculture (and former Minister of Defense); and Adly Zahari, the Deputy Minister of Defense, visited the Iranian pavilion at the exhibition.
Also, Iran's ambassador to Malaysia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi met with the Malaysian Deputy Minister of Defense on the sidelines of the exhibition and discussed ways to develop bilateral defense cooperation.
In this meeting, Adly Zahari, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Defense, emphasized the good relations between the two countries, expressed appreciation for the Islamic Republic of Iran's presence at the exhibition, and deemed understanding Iran's capabilities important.
He described the Islamic Republic of Iran's defense achievements as significant and noteworthy.
The Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran also participated in the Defense Service Asia Exhibition and Conference in Malaysia (DSA 2024) last year.
