Imam Khamenei: Nuclear industry is related to Iranian nation, has nothing to do with US and others + Pictures

Pars Today- Imam Khamenei, speaking to the huge and zealous gathering of people at Imam Khomeini's holy shrine on Wednesday morning, said that Iran's enjoying complete and honorable cycle of nuclear fuel is the outcome of the nation's belief and that of the young scientists in "We can".

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, referring to the important effects of nuclear industry in the progress of other sciences and industries, called the nuclear plan presented by the US completely opposite to the principle of "We can" and stressed, "The great nuclear industry is practically useless without enrichment and let the US and the Zionist regime know that they cannot do a damn thing to materialize their top objective, namely, dismantling Iran's nuclear industry." According to Pars Today, Imam Khamenei made it clear, "Iran, with the blessing of the intelligence of its youths and endeavor of its scientists, has been able to enjoy full cycle of nuclear fuel while there are quite few countries owning this capability."

The Leader said that the benefits of nuclear industry are not limited to production of clean and cheap power and added, "Nuclear industry is a mother and main industry, and according to the reports of specialists and scientists which should be presented to people, various spheres of the basic sciences and engineering, such as nuclear physics, engineering of energy, engineering of materials, and also, precise and sensitive technologies in medical equipment, airspace and precise electronic sensors are related to or affected by nuclear industry."

Imam Khamenei enumerated other uses of nuclear industry in the fields of medicine and pharmaceuticals, diagnosis of tough diseases, and the effect of this industry on the industries related to agriculture and environment, and stated, "Uranium enrichment is a basic and key point in nuclear industry which the enemies have also put their finger on this point."

Explaining the uselessness of the great nuclear industry without the capability of enrichment, he said, "Without enrichment, to secure the fuel of power plants, we must extend our hand to the owners of it; as if we are told that as we have oil, we don’t have the right to construct refinery and produce gasoline, and should do according to the will of other countries to buy and secure our gasoline."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution continued, "Without enrichment and ability to produce fuel, it is useless to have even 100 nuclear power plants, because in order to provide fuel, we have to extend our hand before the US and they may put tens of conditions to do this just as this issue was experienced in the 80s (2000s) and securing 20 percent fuel."

Imam Khamenei reiterated that the top word and demand of the Americans is to thoroughly deprive Iran from the nuclear industry and its various benefits and making thousands of young researchers and scientists jobless and disappointed and said, "The rude and brazen leaders of the US repeat this demand in different ways."

Calling the reality of the American bullying demand "to oppose the progress and self-sufficiency of the Iranian nation", he stressed, "We said these realities in order to put the Iranian nation in the picture to some extent. The officials should also explain more."

Imam Khamenei, stressing that, "Our response is clear to the nonsenses of the boisterous and imprudent American government", reminded the acknowledgement of one of the American presidents a few years ago on the failure to undo the bolts and nuts of Iran's nuclear industry, added, "Today, the bolts and nuts of our nuclear industry are firmer and as that president admitted that he couldn’t do anything, let the current Zionist and American rulers know that they cannot do a damn thing in this regard, either."

The Leader stated that the first word of the Islamic Republic to the American side and other opponents of Iran's nuclear industry is to question the legal basis of their claims and said, "Our word to them is that the Iranian nation's authority is in their own control. What on earth are you and on which legal basis are you interfering in our enjoying or not enjoying enrichment?"

Imam Khamenei, pointing to the tangible impacts of the Islamic Revolution in the current developments in the world, stressed, "The great Imam [Khomeini], with prudence and rationality stemming from faith, included the principles of continuation of powerful and dignified move of the revolution and the country within the basic concept of "National Independence" and dear Iran will achieve progress, public welfare, sustainable security, further upgrading of foreign status and bright future in the light of these principles."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in the end of his speech, referred to the stunning and incredible crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza which creating a center for food distribution launch barrage of bullets over people, said, "This extent of baseness, wickedness, wretchedness and evil is really astounding."

He called the US partner in the crimes of the Zionist regime and added, "That's why, we insist that the US must get out of the region."

Imam Khamenei described the duty of the Islamic governments as heavy and, stressing that today is not the time of consideration, conservatism, neutrality and silence, said, "If an Islamic government supports this regime, in any way or pretext, either normalization of ties, or blocking the way of aid to the Palestinian people or even justification of the crimes of Zionists, it should know that it will remain an eternal stain on its forehead."
