  • How has been Iran's reaction to Zionist regime attacks so far?

Pars Today- The Islamic Republic of Iran, in reaction to invasion and aggressive measure of the Zionist regime to attack regions of the country, launched hundreds of ballistic missiles towards the Occupied Territories while it has not been announced when these attacks will end.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, after this invasion and aggressive move of the fake regime which led to martyrdom of some of the top Iranian commanders, prominent scientists and innocent citizens, especially oppressed children, announced in a televised message, " the Zionist regime made a great mistake, made a blunder and dared to make this blunder; yet the consequences will make it miserable with God's help."

After this televised message, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps put into action its crushing and precise response against tens of targets, military centers and airbases of the Zionist regime inside the Occupied Territories and launched "Operation True Promise 3" with the codename of "Ya Ali ibn Abi Taleb".

Here, we have taken a look at the way Iran has responded to the Israeli brazen move to attack the country.

Operation begins at 22 pm local time (Tehran)

At nearly 22 pm (local time of Tehran) Friday, Iran's Armed Forces, launching hundreds of various types of ballistic missiles towards the Occupied Territories, started Operation True Promise 3 to give a decisive response to the savage attack of the Zionist regime.

In the aftermath of this operation, CNN, quoting from the Israeli military, reported that the entire Israel (Occupied Palestine) is under the constant fire of Iran's attacks. The news conference of the Israeli military spokesman was cut concurrent with the start of "Operation True Promise 3".

Second Wave

The second wave of Iran's attacks on the Occupied Territories began at nearly 23 pm Friday, and according to the Zionist regime radio and TV, approximately100 Iranian missiles were launched towards the Occupied Territories. Al-Mayadeen reported that Iran's missiles struck Tel Aviv. Hebrew media, too, informed of fire flames sweeping near HaKyria, the location of the regime's ministry of war.

Third Wave

It was almost 2 am Saturday that the Zionist regime media informed of the third wave of Ian's missile attacks towards the Occupied Territories. In this attack, a number of the launched missiles passed through the "sophisticated" multilayered air defense system of the fake Israeli regime and hit the preplanned targets. Israeli media said that one of the Iranian missiles struck a 50-storey building in Tel Aviv. These media reported that at least 150 missiles were launched in this wave of the operation.

Fourth Wave

Al-Mayadeen announced that the 4th wave of Iran's missile attacks on the Occupied Territories started at 5 am. According to the Hebrew media, Iran's missiles hit Tel Aviv, al-Quds, Haifa, Be'er Sheba, Buhaira and al-Jalil and siren was sounded throughout the Occupied Territories.

Israeli media also informed of tremendous blasts in several regions in the north. Many of these attacks have been unprecedented according to the regime's media and observers. Israeli media, quoting from eye witnesses, reported that very heavy explosions had occurred in several regions in the north of the Occupied Territories. Reports also indicate that several explosions had trembled Haifa port.

Fifth Wave

It was nearly 6.20 am Saturday that the Zionist regime media announced the fifth wave of Iran's missile attacks towards the entire Israel (Occupied Palestine). According to these media, the 5th wave of Iran's missile attacks hit targets in Tiberias, Occupied Golan Heights and Lower al-Jalil. Israeli media reported that the newest wave of Iran's missile attacks on Tel Aviv razed to the ground at least 6 buildings.

What were targets of "True Promise 3"?

Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, Advisor to the IRGC Commander, said, "More than 150 targets were specified in several phases of "Operation True Promise 3" and in every phase, with precise planning of the Airspace Force heavy blow was dealt to the Zionist regime." Pointing to the goals of these attacks inside the Occupied Territories, Brigadier General Vahidi added, "Nevatim airbase and Ovda airbase which are important centers for deployment of the F-35, F-16 and F-16 warplanes, together with heavy transportation, fueling, signal center, electronic warfare and were used for the offensive against Iran, were struck."

Vahidi stressed, "Moreover, Tel Nof which is an important airbase near Tel Aviv, was hit despite intensive defense system. Military industry centers, which were taking missile measures and were their war ministry, were also struck."

He made it clear, "Today, we displayed a firm blow with the high power and capability of Iran's Armed Forces so that they know that they have erred in their calculations, put themselves in a dangerous state and made a big blunder."

Will attacks continue?

Iran has not announced the end of "Operation True Promise 3", yet. In view of this, the American envoy to Tel Aviv said to CNN, "It was a hard night in Israel and we expect Iran to continue launching missiles towards Israel."
