Pars Today – A former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) discussed the dimensions of the Zionist regime’s recent 12-day war against Iran and addressed the media claims made by the U.S. and the Zionist regime.

Major General Mohsen Rezaei, former IRGC commander, stated in an interview on Tuesday evening: "In the recent 12-day war, Israel and the U.S. were defeated by Iran."

According to Pars Today, Rezaei pointed to the propaganda efforts by Washington and Tel Aviv regarding recent events, saying: "This propaganda has several goals: First, to sow doubt in public opinion and spin narratives to undermine Iran’s victory. Second, it seems that when Trump claimed nuclear issues were resolved, the aim was to deceive Iran—similar to their approach in previous negotiations."

He added: "Now we must see whether they truly won or not. Israel’s gains and losses can be assessed from multiple angles. According to Israel’s Finance Ministry, the war cost them around $20 billion in those 12 days. They used up the equivalent of two years’ worth of U.S.-made TAAD missile production in just 12 days—each missile is extremely expensive. Essentially, they fired two years’ worth of production into the sky in less than two weeks."

Rezaei then highlighted Iran’s military achievements, stating: "We shot down around 80 drones, and the wreckage of 32 of them is now in our possession—including highly advanced Hermes and Heron drones. Our radars confirmed 80 hits. Additionally, Israel suffered significant human casualties and damage to its security and economic centers. The question is, what did they gain in exchange for such heavy losses."

He further addressed the security foundations of the Zionist regime, noting: "Israel’s existence is built on the concept of ‘absolute security.’ They gathered people from around the world, promising them a land free from danger. Economic benefits also depend on this security. But this time, Israel’s security has collapsed. Their safety net is full of holes, creating a serious existential crisis for the regime."
