Pars Today - Iran's Foreign Minister stated: The German President's condemnation of the violation of the rights of the Iranian people is commendable.
According to Pars Today, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, by re-publishing the statements of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, considered his position unprecedented among Western leaders and wrote: International law is dead in practice—driven by Western double standards on Gaza vs. Ukraine and silence on Israel–U.S. aggression on Iran. Still, credit to President Steinmeier for condemning the violations against Iranians. Those who value the rule of law should also speak up.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of Germany, in an explicit statement, described the military aggression of America and Israel against Iran as a violation of international law.
He also expressed doubt about the basis of the claim for the start of the war, adding that the justification put forward regarding the existence of an ‘imminent threat’ against American targets is not convincing.”
