Pars Today – Iran’s deputy for strategic affairs to the president has stressed that the resilience of the Iranian people has brought unjust sanctions to their knees.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mohsen Esmaeili, a strategic affairs deputy to President Masoud Pezeshkian, made the remarks on Saturday at a specialized strategic meeting on Iran’s foreign trade, focused on examining risks and possible scenarios under the region’s new conditions.

Emphasizing the need to organize and make foreign trade smarter, he said that even under different circumstances, organizing and modernizing foreign trade would remain one of the country’s key and vital priorities, requiring national determination and strategies agreed upon by the public and private sectors.

Addressing the all-out pressure exerted by Iran’s adversaries, Esmaeili said that coercive and overreaching adversaries had violated all ethical principles and legal standards, creating obstacles to trade that were not only legally prohibited but also morally reprehensible.

He added that the adversaries’ conduct had become so brazen that they were even obstructing trade in medicine and food, disregarding the public’s food and health security.

Praising Iran’s domestic capabilities and potential, the Iranian official noted that the country’s ingenuity, the resilience of its people and its diverse God-given natural resources had enabled Iran to astonish the world with its national resilience despite all the unfair pressure it faced.
