Iran to unveil new nuclear achievements

Deputy Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Asqar Zarean said the country is set to unveil new hi-tech achievements on the National Day of Nuclear Technology on April 9.

"A ceremony has been scheduled for April 9 with high-ranking officials in attendance. During the ceremony a number of new nuclear achievements will be unveiled," Zarean said.

He further noted that the achievements are related to centrifuges, isolation of stable isotopes, radiopharmaceuticals, water, health, treatment and power plants.

Zarean reiterated that last year's National Nuclear Technology Day introduced 42 domestic nuclear achievements, which was nearly half the number of products to be unveiled this year.
