Let's learn Iranophobia with big lie technique from CNN and Frida Ghitis
Pars Today- American columnist, Frida Ghitis, in an article a la US propaganda, has touched upon the martyrdom of the popular Iranian president Ebrahim Raeisi and inserted American lies at the behest of her paymaster to promote Iranophobia.
The reader knows well that Iranophobia is quite natural among the US media. Iran is the most serious enemy of the American and Israeli hegemony and warmongering, especially in West Asia.
Ghitis starts with calling the Islamic Republic a ruling system which controls the Iranian society cruelly and that Raeisi, after the helicopter crash, has not been popular among the Iranian society.
One should use "American impudence and blindness" for this part.
It is enough to look at the unprecedented anti-Iran sanctions for the past 45 years by the US after the fall of the Pahlavi kingdom which was a stooge of the US.
To this, one should add the 8-year war which was imposed by the US through its stooge Saddam of Iraq. Which country, do you think, can resist such pressures without the support of its people?
It would suffice only to look at the videos of funerals of General Soleimani, the legendary commander of fight against terrorism, and the popular president, Ebrahim Raeisi to understand how much people loved them.
Above all, one can see the videos of people who welcome the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in his visits to various provinces.
In fact, Frida Ghitis' technique is big lie and repetition of lie to make believe.
Ghitis doesn't even imagine that her readers might search on the internet, and brazenly, says that Iranians are happy on the cyberspace at the demise of Raeisi. This astounding lie is uttered while the two hashtags "Martyr President" and "Khadem-ol-Reza" (Servant of Imam Reza) became the trend of social media in Iran.
The American columnist, after using the big lie technique, broaches on illusion and says that very soon the war of power and civil war will start in Iran. We had better call this "an American wishful thinking", as the Americans have tried many times after the Islamic Revolution to wage separatist and sectarian wars which have all failed.
The main reason is lack of proper information on Iran and the Iranian Muslim community; a community with a very old civilizational record which is unanimous in national affairs.
This wish is like that of Netanyahu. It seems that poor Frida Ghitis has written upon the order of Netanyahu.
Of course, she points to the Israeli regime, too. But she writes as if it is the Palestinians who have migrated to Palestine and usurped the land from the Jews migrating from Europe and other parts of the world!!!
She believes that Hamas is not Palestine. Well, this shows the nature of a person brought up among colonialists, as they believe that the non-Western nations are not entitled to have defensive force and resistance force against colonialists and invaders.
This is what they have done against Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Libya and so on.
Frida then alleges Iran of participating in the Ukraine war; and allegation which Iran has strongly rejected and the West, led by the US, has not presented any document and only refers to Iran's drone technology in the region.
This professional journalist is apparently negligent of diversity of opinions among politicians in Iran which makes the country one of (if not the) most democratic system in the world. It is enough to have a brief look at differences of views among the presidents for the past 35 years: Hashemi Rafsanjani (1989- 1997) believed in economic development, Mohammad Khatami (1997-2005) was a reformist and highly inclined to interaction with the West, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (2005-2013) was a principalist, Hassan Rouhani (2013-2021) was again a reformist strongly believing in interaction with the West and finally, Ebrahim Raeisi (2021-2024) was a popular president affiliated to none of the parties and highly believing in Islamic values, popular power and balance in relations with the West and the East.
Ghitis, just like the Israeli propaganda against Iran, calls Raeisi a man who had issued the murder sentence for a number of terrorists. Here, she tells three lies:
Firs, she attributes to Raeisi the judicial ruling for armed terrorists, who had killed more than 17 thousand citizens, most of them women and children, in the first years of the Islamic Republic system.
Second, she doesn't say what those terrorists had done.
Third, she does not say that many of the terrorists had not been executed, but pardoned and freed.
Frida Ghitis is happy that the CNN audience is not a researcher and accepts whatever she says without asking for a document for her allegations. Thus, she continues to claim that Iran is always plunged in protests and suppression.
It seems that she is speaking more about the US, Israel and France rather than Iran. Interestingly, her document is that the US has sanctioned Raeisi for his role in "internal and external suppression". This is the allegation raised by the US, which is the top supporter of the butcher of West Asia, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is the creator of DAESH as Trump had admitted. This is the US which has massacred more than one million citizens in Iraq. This is the US which has assassinated the top enemy of DAESH terrorists, Qasem Soleimani. This is the US, the murderer of the people of Japan, Cambodia, Kosovo, Libya, Syria, etc.
Frida's final lie is related to the savage riot of 2022 with the slogan of "Woman, Life, Freedom" in Iran. The riot was forged by the direct support of Israel and scores of Western regimes which were hell-bent on waging ethnic rift and civil war in Iran. The riot was described as an intricate hybrid war by Iran's security and intelligence organizations in which the highest amount of trafficked weapons had been discovered and seized from the rioters since the establishment of the Islamic Republic.
Key phrases: American propaganda, US and Iran, US and Israel, US wars in West Asia, who is martyr Raeisi?
