A massive march has been held along the fence separating the Gaza Strip from the Occupied Territories to commemorate the 47th anniversary of the Land Day.

People from all walks of life took to the streets of the besieged Gaza Strip to stress their right to return to their land.

Land Day marks the events of March 30, 1976 when six Palestinians were martyred by Israeli forces during peaceful protests against the Tel Aviv regime’s decision to seize tracts of Palestinian-owned land.

Palestinians call on the international community and Arab countries to support the Palestinian people in their quest for liberation.

The Thursday peaceful demonstration turned violent when Israeli forces shoot and injured a Palestinian with live ammunition. Two others were injured when they were hit by tear gas canisters used by the regime’s troops to disperse the protesters.
