Pars Today - One of the tactics used by the Israeli intelligence agency is to conduct false flag operations against various countries.

False flag operations refer to actions conducted by military, paramilitary, intelligence, or political organizations in such a way that it appears as though other groups or countries have carried out these operations.

For example, if one side in a conflict uses the flag and uniform of the opposing side to attack and massacre the residents of a village, and then blames the other side for the atrocity, it would be considered a false flag operation.

The purpose of these operations is to conceal the identity of the actual perpetrators or to discredit the opposing side and create a pretext for attacking them.

The Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, has a long history of designing and executing such deceptive operations against various countries.

One notable example is the chemical attack in Idlib, Syria, which was attributed to the government of Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria.

Another example is the fake bombing plot at a meeting of the terrorist group Mojahedin-e Khalq (MKO) in the suburbs of Paris, which was a conspiracy by Israel against Iran.

On Saturday, June 30, 2018, a few hours after the meeting, the French police announced that they had foiled a bombing plot at the meeting, using information provided by Israel and with the cooperation of security agencies in Belgium, Austria, and Germany.

In that incident, Western media outlets claimed that an Iranian couple had been arrested in Belgium for attempting to bomb the meeting. In the next phase of the anti-Iranian scenario, the same Western media outlets claimed that the couple was connected to an Iranian diplomat based in Vienna. It was later announced that the diplomat had been arrested in Germany.

However, Iranian authorities later revealed that the whole incident was part of an Israeli false flag operation.

In another incident, in July 2014, Tel Aviv accused Hamas of kidnapping several Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Later, it was revealed that the operation was a false flag operation aimed at invading Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Yair Lapid, the former Prime Minister of Israel, stated that the goal of the operation was to defeat the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas).

By reviewing history, similar cases can be found.

In the summer of 1954, the Israeli army's counter-intelligence unit carried out a secret operation called "Susannah Operation", in which they attempted to bomb Egyptian, American, and British targets and blame it on Egyptian groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood and Egyptian communists. A group of Egyptian Jews was chosen to carry out the bombings.

The goal of the operation was to create instability in Egypt, allowing Britain to maintain its military presence in the Suez Canal region. However, the operation failed, and Pinhas Lavon, the Israeli Minister of War at the time, was forced to resign.

Several Egyptian Jews and Israeli agents were arrested in connection with the operation. Two suspects, Youssef Karmon and Meir Max Bineth, committed suicide in prison. Although Israel denied responsibility for the operation for 51 years, the survivors received a certificate of appreciation from Moshe Katsav, the President of Israel, in 2005.

In another incident, on June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War between Arabs and Israel, Israeli warplanes and naval vessels attacked a US Navy technical research ship, killing 34 crew members and injuring 171, and causing significant damage to the ship.

The operation that was carried out with the goal of drawing the United States into a war with Egypt and overthrowing Gamal Abdel Nasser, the President of Egypt at the time, failed due to the incomplete destruction of the ship and its failure to sink.

According to reports, another new example of the Zionist false flag operation dates back to October 7, 2023, and the start of the Gaza War. The Zionists, with the help of their propaganda agencies, claimed that Hamas forces had attacked a music festival in the settlement of "Ra'im" near the Gaza Strip, killing several people. However, this lie was quickly exposed.

A report by the Zionist newspaper "Haaretz", based on investigations by the Israeli police, revealed that Hamas forces had no knowledge of the festival and it was actually an Israeli army helicopter that fired at the festival participants. Over 364 people were killed in the festival.

However, false flag operations are not limited to military actions. Some reports suggest that Israeli-organized forces infiltrate pro-Palestinian student protests, engaging in vandalism, attacking personalities, and blocking roads to create a pretext for confrontation with Palestinian supporters and to turn public opinion in the West against Palestinian advocates.
