Israeli businessmen: No economic security with Netanyahu's government
Pars Today - Israeli businessmen are demanding the overthrow of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet and early elections for the Knesset (parliament).
A group of 200 prominent Israeli businessmen, who aim to save Israel from a deep economic crisis, have announced their efforts to remove Netanyahu. According to Pars Today, Eyal Waldman, a well-known Israeli businessman, said: "The current cabinet is an enemy of Israel, and we must work to advance the election date."
Waldman stated that Israeli businessmen are trying to convince Knesset members who are part of the cabinet to overthrow Netanyahu.
It has been over eight months since the Zionist regime's failed invasion of Gaza, and the regime is increasingly facing external and internal crises, particularly a budget deficit.
During this period, the Zionist regime has achieved nothing but killing, destruction, war crimes, violation of international laws, bombing of relief organizations, and imposing famine and hunger on the region.
Earlier, the Zionist regime's ministry of finance announced that the budget deficit had increased by 7% of the gross domestic product (GDP) in the 12 months leading up to April.
Additionally, the regime's tax revenues decreased by 4.1% in the first three months of the current year and by 13.1% in April.
The Ministry of Finance has also predicted an $8 billion budget deficit for 2025, considering the ongoing war costs in Gaza.
The Zionist media outlet, Jerusalem Post, reported on Sunday that the war in Gaza has dealt a significant economic blow, particularly to the agricultural sector in Zionist settlements.
Meanwhile, the Zionist newspaper, Calcalist wrote that according to the Ministry of Finance's initial estimates, the war in Gaza will cost the regime around 200 billion Shekels (approximately $51 billion), equivalent to 10% of its GDP.
Calcalist described the Ministry of Finance's prediction of $51 billion in war costs as optimistic.
Experts believe that the occupying Israeli regime has lost the war without achieving any goals, and even after more than eight months, it has failed to defeat the resistance groups in a small region that has been under siege for years, and has lost international public support due to its blatant war crimes in Gaza.
According to the latest reports, since the start of the new round of Zionist regime attacks on Gaza on October 7, 2023, over 37,000 Palestinians have been martyred, and more than 85,000 have been injured.
The Israeli regime was established in 1917 with the design of British colonialism and through the migration of Jews from various countries to Palestinian land, and its existence was declared in 1948. Since then, various plans for mass killings have been carried out to genocide the Palestinian people and occupy their entire land.
