Shia Muslims in Moscow commemorate Ashura mourning rituals

Shia Muslims in Moscow, capital of Russia mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain (PBUH), grandson and the 3rd infallible successor of Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny), and his 72 companions, who were martyred in Karbala, Iraq in 680 AD.

Also, Russian artists performed Taziye theater at the Islamic Center of Moscow on Ashura night.
