Pars Today- North Korean foreign ministry, issuing a statement referred to the US effort to set up an Asian military coalition with Japan and South Korea and described their moves as dangerous to regional stability.
North Korean foreign ministry, condemning the upcoming US-South Korea-Japan trilateral war game called, "Freedom Edge" on July 4-6 in Jeju Island of South Korea, made it clear that the relations of these three countries have become like a full-scale version of an Asian NATO. According to Pars Today, the foreign ministry of South Korea, in this statement, stressing that the measures of the US and its allies threaten the region, added that it could not ignore bolstering the regional military bloc, led by the US and its allies, and it will protect the regional peace with "decisive response".
Earlier, the deputy chiefs of the staff of the "Chinese Central Military Commission", calling the US the greatest challenge to regional security and stability, had said, "Washington is seeking to create a version of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Asia and the Pacific Ocean to keep its hegemony in the region."
