Pars Today – Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense announced that the country is seeking to pass legislation to suspend trade with Israeli companies located in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Pars Today, Simon Harris, Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense, stated on Saturday in a post on the social media platform X that the country intends to approve legislation to halt trade with Israeli companies operating in the occupied Palestinian territories. He announced that the Irish government will formally decide on this bill and hopes that the Foreign Affairs Committee will begin reviewing it in June. Harris also condemned the starvation of children and the use of food as a weapon of war amid Israel's blockade of Gaza. According to him, this blockade has prevented thousands of aid trucks, including Irish trucks, from reaching over 6,000 Palestinians for more than 80 days.

Significant Iranian progress in air defense systems development

Brigadier General Alireza Sabbahi-Fard, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base, yesterday in a gathering of commanders and officials of the force, referring to the power of Iran's armed forces stated: "Military authority and deterrent power are vital components of the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces, and all capacities and platforms will be utilized to enhance them." Sabbahi-Fard emphasized the necessity of progress in the field of developing defense systems, stating: "As recently announced by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, we have made significant progress in the design and development of indigenous weapon systems. Furthermore, extensive efforts are underway around the clock to increase the efficiency of equipment to achieve this important goal."

Attacks on several mosques in Texas, USA

American media reported on Saturday evening that three mosques in Austin, Texas, were attacked and vandalized.
