Pars Today – The President of Iran emphasized that Islamic countries should strongly and effectively condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime, both in word and in action.

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, following the Israeli airstrike on the meeting of leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday, condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against the country during a phone call with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.

Pezeshkian added: “Islamic countries must stand together with a unified position, condemning this aggression and the blatant crimes of the Zionist regime seriously and effectively, so that this criminal regime does not dare to repeat or continue such actions.”

He expressed full support and solidarity of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the friendly and brotherly country of Qatar, stating: “The Islamic Republic of Iran stands alongside our brothers in Qatar and will take any necessary action to support our neighbor and close friend.”

The President of Iran added that, unfortunately, the Zionist regime adheres to no internationally accepted framework and respects no global legal norms, noting that this approach and behavior of the Zionist regime occurs with the support and backing of the United States.

Qatar emphasizes effective action to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime

In this regard, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, during a phone call with the President of Iran, stressed that regional countries must take a unified and consistent stance against the crimes of the Zionist regime. He noted: “Hamas officials were reviewing the U.S. President’s proposed plan for a ceasefire, and in consultations we had with them, they indicated they would respond positively to the proposal. Unfortunately, Israel attacked the very same meeting.”

The Emir of Qatar expressed hope that contacts between the Islamic Republic of Iran, other Islamic countries, and Qatar will continue in the coming days, so that through collective cooperation and effort, effective action can be taken to stop Israel’s crimes.

Trump claims: Attack on Qatar was Netanyahu’s decision
