Massive pro-Palestine demonstrations in Germany

Pars Today – Thousands of Germans took to the streets in downtown Hamburg in solidarity with the people of Gaza. Despite the cold and rain, protesters in Germany’s second-largest city gathered to voice their opposition to Berlin’s role in the alleged genocide by the Israeli regime in Gaza, chanting slogans such as “Stop the Genocide” and “Free Palestine.”

At the same time, dozens of human rights activists, representing various groups and organizations, chained themselves to the railway tracks at the Port of Hamburg, one of Europe’s largest ports, halting cargo transport for several hours in protest against Germany’s arms exports to the Israeli regime.

“Yule Fink,” spokesperson for the group Ende Gelände, said that the German government is actively complicit in the genocide of Palestinians by Israel. Germany continues to export weapons to Israel through its ports. / IRIB
