Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized the need to confront the unilateral actions of certain countries.

“Masoud Pezeshkian,” the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in an interview with China Central Television (CCTV), published on Sunday:
“The supporters and sponsors of unilateralism, through force, sanctions, and various tools, try to keep countries within a framework they themselves have designed.”

Pezeshkian added: “If the supporters of multilateralism want to break out of this framework, they must engage with one another, trade, and pay no attention to the sanctions imposed by others.”

He stressed: “If the countries that support multilateralism are not united, the sponsors of unilateralism will prevail over them.”

Indian PM calls for people to use domestic products
Amid tensions in New Delhi’s relations with Washington, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the country’s citizens to stop using foreign products and instead support domestic goods. Supporters of the Prime Minister have also launched campaigns to boycott American companies, including McDonald’s, Pepsi, and Apple.

Referring to intense global competition and rapid technological changes, Li Lecheng said BRICS member states should share their capacities in markets, resources, and industrial capabilities in order to remain leaders on the global stage.
