Palestinian writer: Israel is the executor of American strategy
Pars Today - A Palestinian analyst warned that if no practical action is taken against the Zionist regime, military movements by the regime concerning other countries in the West Asian region should be expected.
According to a report by Pars Today citing Al Jazeera, Palestinian writer and journalist Saif al-Din Mu'ad warned that if no practical action is taken against Israel's crimes in Gaza, the next phase could involve military and separatist movements in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and even pose a threat to Turkey.
Mu'ad stated that since the Camp David Accords, the fundamental reality about the Zionist regime has not changed. He said Arab leaders are well aware that Tel Aviv does not operate based on the principle of "land for peace" and has only viewed the "two-state solution" as a propaganda tool to delay commitments and solidify facts on the ground.
He added that despite this, a large part of the official Arab system still relies on verbal assurances, American mediation, and red lines that effectively do not exist. Consequently, there has been a gradual shift from peace conditional on withdrawal to unconditional peace, and then to a peace that implies surrender to power arrangements.
This Palestinian analyst emphasized that Israel today is not merely acting independently but is executing an American strategy aimed at dominating West Asia and containing global rivals. The United States wants to control oil and gas resources and maritime routes. Within this framework, Israel is like a stationary aircraft carrier on land—a pressure tool that Washington uses whenever it wants to change a country's behavior or impose a decision.
The author noted that in the Israeli mindset, the regional map is expansive, and surrounding countries are seen as vital, open spaces that can be recreated whenever conditions permit. Israel's expansionist views are no longer confined to books and synagogues but have been transformed into practical policies.
According to him, the Zionist project has reconstructed modern Jewish identity based on indivisible land, Israel's exceptionalism beyond the law, and the perpetual sanctity and threat to the Jewish community.
Mu'ad added that what is happening in Gaza today as genocide is a clear example: killing has gradually become an administrative procedure, displacement a logistical choice, and siege and starvation systematic tools of pressure by Israel. In the West Bank, the process of land seizure, annexation, and Judaization by Zionists continues. In Syria and Lebanon, the regime's policy of extortion is implemented through repeated strikes.
This Arab analyst, emphasizing the necessity of unity among West Asian countries against Israel, said the path forward lies not in dependence on the West or the East, but in forming an independent historical-political-economic-military bloc in the region.
He stated that if the Arab and Islamic world achieve internal cohesion, regional understanding, and intelligent management of global relations, they can expose the structural weakness of the Zionist project. He said we must move towards managing transformation. Otherwise, we will gift the necessary time to the Zionist project and bequeath failure to future generations.
Palestinian writer and journalist Saif al-Din Mu'ad concluded by saying: The worst historical fate awaits a nation that knew but did not act; and the truest words in the hour of trial belong to the nation that transforms its knowledge into decisions, will, and practical steps, and says: We have finally begun to knock on the wall of decline.
