Pars Today – Results of a new survey show that most American citizens want the United States to reduce its role in global affairs.
Results of a new AP-NORC survey show that the majority of American citizens want the United States to reduce its role in global affairs. According to Pars Today, the survey, conducted between September 11 and 15, 2025, indicates that 62 percent of respondents prefer the U.S. government to focus on domestic issues.
The report indicates that 54 percent of young voters (ages 18–34) support reducing the military budget. Additionally, 47 percent of participants view U.S. relations with China as a threat to national security.
Another part of the survey shows that 38 percent of respondents want U.S. foreign policy to focus on multilateral cooperation rather than unilateral actions.
