X users to Trump: Save Americans not Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump
Pars Today – Users of the social media platform X ridiculed U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that he would “rescue the people of Iran.”
Trump recently wrote on Truth Social that if Iranian security forces target peaceful protesters, the United States would be “ready to fire.” This statement sparked reactions on X, which Pars Today reviews in this report.
Sumit Raj, a user on the social media platform X, explained what he sees as Trump’s real motive, writing: “America’s goal is not to save anyone; America’s goal is Iran’s oil and gas.”
Another user, Black, called on Iran to focus on stopping U.S. school shootings instead, saying: “Why is Trump interfering in everything? It’s Iran that should save America from school shootings.”
Seyed Mohammad Marandi, an Iranian X user, added: “The U.S. regime lies about everything to justify killing and looting. America is the Great Satan.”
Another X user, Haido, pointed to Trump’s complicity in the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli regime, writing: “Has Trump ever done anything to save the civilians and innocent children killed in Gaza? No—he is complicit in genocide and continues to arm Israel.”
X activist Manish Dabi also criticized Trump regarding the U.S. attack on Venezuela, stating: “Trump’s claim of helping the people of Iran comes while the U.S. is engaged in Venezuela and has abducted the country’s legitimate president.”
X user Mind Pulse described Trump’s remarks as a direct threat, writing: “This isn’t about saving protesters. This is about preserving America’s right to intervene. The language is deliberately vague, the trigger unspecified, and it’s a clear threat. ‘Human rights’ is just an excuse.”
Another user, Abuhunter, wrote: “America should first take care of its own people. Why all of a sudden this much sympathy for the people of Iran? It’s their nation, their law, they [Iranians] will handle it. This is another war for the devil.”
In the same vein, Ox Number commented: “Why does this guy always want to interfere in other countries’ affairs? Doesn’t he have people at home to take care of?”
