Sep 09, 2016 10:59The Holy Qur’an has called Mecca and its surroundings “Balad al-Amin” or the Safe and Secure Land. Islam decreed its inviolability, especially during the annual Hajj, specifying that neither an insect should be harmed by a pilgrim in the state of Ehraam, nor should such a person uproot any vegetation from the ground, let alone hunting an animal or bird.
