Provision of the grounds to increase women's participation in vocations and decision-making is said to be among the goals of the third millennium development plan. According to many pundits, these goals have not materialized in either developing countries or even developed ones which masquerade to observe gender equality. One of these domains is cinema which, despite deafening claims in the west, is grappling with gender inequality.

Half the World, Half the Power was the motto of the World Women Conference convened by the United Nations during 4–15 September 1995 in Beijing, China. Then in 2000, the heads of states signed the document on Women's Empowerment and Gender Equality as a prerequisite for attaining change and overcoming economic and political problems.

One of the long-term goals of the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is gender equality. According to the designers of MDGs, the plan is a way for getting higher income, helping reduction of children mortality rate, improvement of health condition, increase of productivity, and contributing to development.

As you know, with the advent of industrialization and building of factories around the world, economic activities went through major changes. These changes were mainly characterized by taking women out of homes to the workplaces.

After the Industrial Revolution, the production centers in the world demanded for employment of more workforce. Naturally, the employers wanted cheap workforce and this brought the employment of women to the center of focus in the west.

One of the criteria, that ostensibly show the status of women in different countries, is their participation in various occupations. But western governments often misuse the issue of women's employment as a tool to wield pressure on independent countries, especially Islamic countries, which defy the western hegemony and decadent culture.

The bitter reality of the current era is that the western governments castigate the conditions of women in prisons in some other countries, while they themselves never give a clear report on the same issue in their countries. This, while evidence shows that the western countries are the main violators of the rights of women despite their claims of defending human rights.

In the name of God. Violence against women is rampant across the world. The western countries, in spite of claims of human rights and defence of freedom for women, are the main violators of women's right and invaders of legitimate freedoms in different countries.

In the name of God. As you know, violence against women has caused countless individual and social problems in the current era. Amnesty International, in a report, described violence against women as the most universal instance of violation of human rights.
