The history of Islamic Iran is full of self-sacrifice of the revolutionaries including hundreds of youths who bravely lost their lives in defence of Islam and their endeavours to deliver their homeland from the British-installed and US-backed tyrannical Pahlavi regime. Defence is a natural principle for survival and safeguarding of faith and human dignity.

For the past four decades, the domineering system has exerted its utmost through a hybrid war to create various challenges for the Islamic system so that the system falls behind in its forward-moving capacity. Nevertheless, a brief look at the achievements of the Islamic system shows that, despite threats and sanctions, Iran has succeeded to cross arduous gorges and turn threats into opportunities and increase the ability and efficiency of the system.

This program focuses on the role of the youth, along with their elders and the various strata of the Iranian society, in making the Islamic Revolution succeed, and then safeguarding its achievements ever since till this day.

The victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in February 1979 not only ended the British-installed and American-backed corrupt and despotic Pahlavi regime, but it delivered Iran from the yoke of US hegemony, sending waves of awakening all over the world. Without the least doubt, one of the most important effects was revival of the genuine teachings of Islam and spread of spirituality in the world.

The Islamic Revolution that delivered Iran from the despotism of the British-installed and U.S.-backed Pahlavi regime, and ended the American hegemony, is in fact continuation of the movement of the Prophets of God for the guidance of humanity. It is a revolution based on Divine values to awaken mankind and instill spiritual, religious, and moral values in the society.

The sun of the Islamic Revolution keeps shining more brightly every day even after the passage of 41 years, since its glorious triumph in Iran. The grassroots movement of the Iranian people ushered in some of the greatest changes in the values and ideas of the current era, and the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), showed everyone the power and potential of Islam in facing the might of Global Arrogance.

Among the features of the popular Islamic system of government are its high capacities and efficiency. The Islamic Republic has proved that the path of progress can be traversed on the basis of the time-tested Islamic-Iranian values that the enemies cannot undermine despite their frantic efforts to distort facts and realities by presenting a negative picture.

The Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him) considered Islamic Revolution distinct from the other revolutions in world history, because it is based on justice and spirituality in the broad sense of these words. Likewise, in 2008, Ayatollah Khamenei also specified that the dominant discourse of the Islamic Revolution in its 4th decade is justice and progress.

The period spanning the 1st till the 11th of February reminds us of the fateful days that led to the final victory of the uprising of the Iranian nation against the tyrannical regime of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the myrmidon of US and western regimes in Iran.

The Islamic Revolution of Iran opened a new chapter in the cultural and historical identity of this country and augurs a new civilization based on the sacred values and ideals of Islam.
