It is now over four years and three months that the Leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) continues to languish in prison in deteriorating health, along with his wife and several followers at an undisclosed location in his homeland, as a prisoner of conscience in a country whose regime despite its claim to be democratic and ruled by a self-acclaimed Muslim ruler, denies civil liberties to millions of followers of the school of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet of Islam.
