The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol released a report on Sunday (Dec. 12) that laid out its case for a contempt of Congress charge against Mark Meadows, the Chief of Staff to former President Donald J. Trump, presenting evidence of Meadows’s deep involvement in the effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
