Iranian Cave Salamander
Jan 18, 2017 14:38 UTC
This salamander is nearly 30 centimeter long. It has teeth, too! Two rows of fine arch-shaped teeth! It is a calm animal and it doesn’t bite.
This species of salamander is specific to Iran and lives only in a cave in Alborz Mountains, somewhere between cities of Gorgan and Ali Abad in Golestan Province.
