The growing human rights violations of the Aal-e Khalifa regime of Bahrain are being ignored by the world, emboldening the minority rulers to sentence to death more and more members of the long oppressed majority.

The latest victims of the regime on death row are: Mubarak Adel Mubarak Mahanna, Fadhel as-Seyyed Abbas Hassan Radhi, Seyyed Alawi Hussain Alawi, Mohammad Abdul-Hassan Ahmed al Metghawi, Murtaza Majeed Ramadhan Alawi, and Habeeb Abdullah Hassan Ali al-Jamri).

Now we have a viewpoint that appeared in Iran’s English language daily Kayhan International titled: “Bahraini regime sentences the innocent to death”

In yet another case of trampling of the Laws of God, six Bahraini Muslims were accused of trumped-up charges and sentenced to death yesterday on December 25 by the repressive Aal-e Khalifa minority regime, which recently sent a delegation to the spurious entity, Israel, for a dance with the Zionists, while Palestinians were being gunned down by the usurpers of their homeland for protesting the quixotic decision of US president, Donald Trump, to declare the occupied Islamic holy city of Bayt al-Moqaddas as capital of Israel.

Moreover, in violation of both domestic and international laws, the regime tried them in a military court despite the fact that all the Bahrainis hauled before the Kangaroo court on Monday were civilians.

It was nothing but travesty of justice to frame-up innocent citizens of plotting to assassinate the regime’s commander of the armed forces and to imprison them, sentence them to death and strip them of citizenship, when the fact of the matter is that the defendants who were deprived of the services of lawyers are natives of Bahrain with genealogical trees going back several centuries.

In contrast, the Aal-e Khalifa regime, offspring of pirates of the Khor Abdullah waterway near Basra, are relative newcomers, if not totally non-Bahraini, having seized Bahrain a couple of centuries ago and then consolidated their occupation with British help when Iran had become weak.

It seems the UN and human rights bodies have chosen to remain indifferent to the plight of the Bahraini people and the persecution of their religious and political leaders, because of the pressures of the US, which has set up a naval base near Manama and fears that democratic changes will definitely bring to power the long suppressed Shi’a Muslim majority.

Washington, the Zionist entity and their Wahhabi comrades-in-crime against the Arab people – whether Sunni or Shi’a, whether Palestinians or Yemenis – are terrified of the idea that an independent Bahrain, like liberated Iraq, might opt for closer ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, thereby triggering the simmering freedom movement in the oil-rich eastern part of what is called Saudi Arabia, where for almost a century the local people have been deprived of their birthrights.

It is now almost seven years since the peaceful protests for materialization of their rights were started by the Bahraini people, but instead of listening to their grievances, the minority regime resorted to violence, arrests, torture, killing, and desecration of mosques, hussainiyahs and other religious places, where even copies of the holy Qur’an were burned by the thuggish mercenaries of the Aal-e Khalifa.

The regime thought that such brutal tactics would crush the aspirations of the people and prolong its misrule, enabling it to steadily change the demography of Bahrain by settling mercenaries from various countries, including Jews.

But to its horror, the grassroots movement of the Bahraini people has continued to grow in the face of the shameless backing of the regime by the US, Britain, France and other western powers, who by supporting Manama, have exposed as hypocrisy their claims to democracy and human rights.

As has become the norm for Global Arrogance, International Zionism, and Arab Reactionaries, in order to mislead world public opinion, Iran is ritually blamed and accused of supporting terrorism, which means the Bahrainis, the Yemenis, the Iraqis, the Syrians, the Lebanese, the Palestinians, and all other oppressed Arab peoples have no aspirations of independence of their own.

A volcano in eruption cannot be capped, as is evident by the futile military aggression of Riyadh against the popular Ansarallah Movement of Yemen, which has turned into nightmare the daydreams of Uncle Sam and its stooges in the region.

The Bahraini people have a date with destiny and whatever the magnitude of the savagery of the Aal-e Khalifa minority regime, its fate will certainly be like that of Saddam of the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Baghdad, who ended up in the dustbin of history in spite of atrocities, wars, bloodshed and genocide to stay in power.

Sooner than later, not just the Aal-e Saud but the Zionists will be mentioned in the past tense, like the Shah, Hosni Mubarak, Mo’mmaer Qadhafi, and Abdullah Saleh, no matter how strongly and staunchly these unnatural cliques are supported by the US.
