Bloomberg: Iranian Attacks Caused $3 Billion in Damages to Israel

According to Pars Today citing IRNA, Bloomberg, referencing Israeli regime’s Ministry of Finance and Tax Authority, reported that the financial losses from Iran’s missile attacks on Israel are estimated at 10 billion shekels, equivalent to $3 billion.

Shai Aharonovitz, Director-General of Israel’s Tax Authority—which is responsible for handling compensation payments—told reporters: “This is the biggest challenge we’ve ever faced. Such an amount of damage has never occurred in Israel’s history.”

Bloomberg added that “this figure does not include the cost of replacing weapons and defense systems used during the attacks, which could significantly increase the final total once assessments are completed.”

Previously, Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s Finance Minister, had said the total cost of the war could reach $12 billion, while Amir Yaron, Governor of the regime’s Central Bank, estimated in an interview with Bloomberg TV that about half of that figure reflects the damage caused by Iran’s attacks on the Occupied Territories.
