  • Iran & Pakistan consult to facilitate transportation at common borders

Pars Today - The acting consul general of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Quetta, recalling the facilities provided to Pakistani trucks for easy travel to any point in Iran, emphasized the need for the Pakistani government to make serious efforts to smooth commercial transportation across the common borders of the two countries.

Alireza Rajaee, who began his diplomatic mission as the new acting head of the Iranian Consulate General in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's Balochistan Province, last week, continued his official meetings with government officials and the private sector of the province and held talks with the head of the Pakistan International Transport Companies Association. The head of the Iranian mission said: "The fate of the countries of Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan is tied to each other, so by strengthening and supporting the private sectors, we can help resolve many challenges and define common interests among neighbors."/IRNA
