Araghchi: Insistence on military approach to further complicate regional situation

Pars Today – Iran’s foreign minister has expressed concern over escalating tensions, stressing that insistence on a military approach will further complicate the regional situation.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, held a telephone conversation to discuss and exchange views on current regional developments.
Expressing concern over escalating tensions, Araghchi stressed that insisting on a military approach and disregarding a political solution would further complicate the current situation.
He also emphasized that the existing crises in the region have no military solution, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide any assistance needed to help initiate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and facilitate a political settlement.
