Large-scale protests against Netanyahu in Tel Aviv

Thousands of Israelis protested against prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies on Saturday night and demanded the exchange of war captives with the Palestinians.

A large number of Israeli settlers and families of Israeli captives protested in Tel Aviv, demanding an end to the Gaza war and the immediate signing of a prisoner exchange agreement. Holding placards and pictures of the captured Israelis, the protesters criticized Benjamin Netanyahu for hindering the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the captives' exchange, warning that Netanyahu, by disregarding the lives of captives, wants the war to continue./ IRIB news agency
