Taliban gov't expresses condolences following tragic incident in Iran's Bandar Abbas

Pars Today - Following the explosion at the Shahid Rajaei Port of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan's Taliban government sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the Iranian nation and government on Sunday.

The Taliban statement said: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, expressing deep regret and sorrow for the tragic explosion in Bandar Abbas that resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of Iranian citizens, expresses its condolences and sympathy to the noble nation, government, and bereaved families of Iran.” The statement added, “The government and people of Afghanistan stand by the nation and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in these difficult moments and express their full support and solidarity.”/ IRNA
