Pars Today - On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in China on Sunday, the ministers of health of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, in a bilateral meeting, emphasized the importance of developing mutual relations, especially cooperation in promoting health tourism and utilizing mutual experiences in the field of pharmaceuticals.

Iran's Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi met and conferred with Pakistan's Federal Minister of Health, Seyyed Mustafa Kamal on the sidelines of the 8th Meeting of Health Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states in China. The two sides exchanged views on the latest developments related to bilateral relations, especially the expansion of cooperation in the field of health. During the meeting, Mustafa Kamal emphasized the importance of the close and historical relations between Iran and Pakistan and called for the use of the capacities and experiences of the two countries in the fields of treatment, pharmaceuticals, and also the development of health tourism. /IRNA
