An Israeli institute: Hamas is not eliminable
Pars Today - Studies by an Israeli institute show that the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas is deeply rooted in the social and political structure of the Gaza Strip, and the Zionist regime, despite extensive military efforts, is unable to eliminate the movement.
According to Pars Today, Taher al-Nunu, media advisor to the head of Hamas' Political Bureau, announced that the movement is ready for a long-term ceasefire in Gaza, but will never lay down its weapons.
Sources close to the Gaza truce negotiations also said that Hamas hopes its initiative will be supported by mediators. Based on this, Hamas might accept a 5-7 year truce in exchange for an end to the war, reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and captives' exchange.
