UN: Israeli-imposed blockade of Gaza must end immediately

The United Nations has called for the immediate lifting of the unjust Israeli-imposed blockade of Gaza.

The spokesman for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Gaza announced: Signs of malnutrition are visible throughout the Gaza Strip and if the current situation continues, the situation will progressively get worse. Stating that a large amount of humanitarian aid has accumulated at the crossings, the OCHA spokesman emphasized: To prevent the humanitarian crisis in Gaza from escalating, the borders must be opened up and aid must be allowed to enter the territory./Mehr news agency
