  • Int'l bodies: Humanitarian crisis in Gaza becomes catastrophic

Pars Today – While three international organizations on Friday once again warned of famine, the spread of disease, and deaths caused by hunger in Gaza, calling for the immediate cessation of Israeli military attacks and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged region, the Israeli regime's army bombed a humanitarian aid warehouse in Gaza.

The World Health Organization announced that its medical supplies are running out and no new aid has entered Gaza in the past 65 days. The organization emphasized the urgent need to open the crossings and called for the lifting of the blockade on Gaza and the establishment of a ceasefire in the region.

The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination also warned that the continuation of the current situation will lead to a humanitarian catastrophe, placing the people of Gaza at risk of starvation, disease, and death./
