UAE rejects Israeli proposal for a new Gaza aid mechanism
Pars Today – Hebrew-language sources reported on Saturday that the United Arab Emirates has officially informed the Israeli regime that it will not participate in the newly proposed mechanism for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The Israeli website Walla, quoting Rassan Alian, the coordinator of operations in the Occupied Territories, reported that the United Arab Emirates has expressed its opposition to the Israeli regime’s newly proposed mechanism for distributing humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip, calling it “unacceptable.”
The new aid mechanism, proposed by the Israeli regime with US backing, has faced strong opposition from the United Nations and humanitarian organizations, which have condemned it as an attempt to “politicize aid” and a tool for “managing hunger and exerting pressure on the civilian population.”/ISNA
