Speaker: Iran is ready to facilitate relations with Indonesia

Pars Today - The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Parliament speaker said on Friday we are ready to facilitate the development of relations in the areas of public and parliamentary diplomacy, as well as in economic and trade matters between Iran and Indonesia through legislation.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who is heading a parliamentary delegation to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, to participate in the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), met and conferred with Ahmad Muzani, the Speaker of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly, on Friday. Iran’s Parliament speaker, while congratulating the 75th anniversary of the beginning of relations between Iran and Indonesia, said: “The development of diplomatic and political relations, whether at the governmental, parliamentary, or public levels, has always been emphasized by Iran.”/ IRNA
