European Troika welcomes Tehran–Washington talks

Pars Today – Following a meeting in Istanbul on Friday (May 16) between political directors from France, the UK, and Germany (the European Troika) and Iranian diplomats regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, the UK’s political director at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office welcomed the indirect Tehran–Washington negotiations.

Christian Turner posted on X that the political directors of the European Troika met with Iranian Foreign Ministry diplomats and reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue. He added that the three countries welcome the urgency given to Iran-US talks and agreed to meet again./ ISNA
