Afghanistan takes new diplomatic steps: Amir Khan Muttaqi visits Iran

Pars Today –The Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi visited Tehran and met and conferred with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

Zakir Jalali, Head of the Third Political Department of Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry stated on his X (formerly called Twitter) page that Muttaqi's visits to Iran and China are part of efforts to enhance bilateral relations with regional countries. He added that after his visits to Iran and China in the coming days, more diplomatic trips are planned./ IRNA
