Iran’s Majlis approves Tehran-Moscow’s Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement

Pars Today - The general outlines and details of the bill for a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation were approved by representatives of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) on Wednesday.

This treaty encompasses 30 areas of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran, with priority given to economic, trade, transportation, oil and gas, Caspian Sea, judicial, and parliamentary cooperation. It also covers cooperation between the two countries in international and regional organizations, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, health, scientific and technological cooperation, environment, sports, security, defense, military, and law enforcement domains. /IRNA
