Islamabad: We are in continuous contact with close friends including Iran

Pars Today – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said: “Regarding recent developments in South Asia, we are in continuous contact with all our close friends and partners in the region, including Iran.”

Shafqat Ali Khan said on Friday that the Foreign Ministry will issue a statement at the appropriate time concerning the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Iran. Unofficial reports in Pakistan suggest that a high-ranking delegation from Islamabad, led by Sharif, is preparing for an official visit to Tehran in the coming days. (ISNA)
