Council of Europe: What’s happening in Gaza amounts to genocide

Pars Today – The Council of Europe has declared that events in Gaza amount to ethnic cleansing and genocide by the Israeli regime.

Saskia Kluit, a rapporteur for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) said: “This is a horrifying disaster implicating all of humanity, for we have abandoned it and done nothing to stop it.” She pointed to the complete blockade of Gaza, the denial of humanitarian aid, and the arrest of Palestinian residents, adding that all of these actions and statements from Israeli officials show that what is happening amounts to ethnic cleansing and genocide.
