WFP: Over 70,000 children in Gaza facing severe malnutrition

Pars Today – The World Food Programme, affiliated with the United Nations, announced on Saturday that more than 70,000 children in the Gaza Strip are suffering from extremely severe levels of malnutrition.

The WFP stated: “We are using every opportunity to provide food aid to Gaza, but what is being delivered to the Strip does not meet its vast needs.” The UN-affiliated agency further added: “We require the immediate, safe, and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip to end the famine in the region and save the lives of its residents.” /ISNA
