UNRWA: Gaza needs 500 to 600 humanitarian aid trucks per day

Pars Today – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced on Sunday that the Gaza Strip needs 500 to 600 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter the territory daily.

In a post on its official Facebook page, UNRWA stated that the only way to prevent further deterioration of the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza is to ensure the uninterrupted and effective flow of humanitarian aid to the enclave—especially as the region remains under a complete siege by the Israeli regime for the third consecutive month. The agency further stressed that the people of Gaza have lost their patience and can no longer wait for the arrival of aid. (ISNA)
